Rick Lally
Singer / Songwriter / Artist
Rick is a singer/songwriter that has been influenced by a lot of different artists. Some of his major influences were bands like America, Crosby,Stills, Nash & Young, Jim Croce, Cat Stevens and the Beatles. Currently Rick is working tirelessly to record the songs he has written over the last many years (number to high to list accurately). Rick is also working hard as co-producer on Shay Ryburn's upcoming CD entitled 'That A-Way". Rick and Shay are both planning to release CD's in spring of 2012. Rick has recently been exploring his talents as an artist currently focusing on acrylic painting. Rick also does an occasional snow or sand sculpture. Rick has always had a deep interest in the arts. Some of his favorites artists include Serat, Van Gogh, Picasso, Monet, Dali and Cezanne. Rick has been a huge supporter of expanding the calendar to include more hours in a day and more days in a week. Needless to say he keeps very busy and feels that there never is enough time to fully tap his creative side! Rick and Shay will be displaying Rick's artwork at some of their performances this year. They are hoping to do a few shows this year at various art galleries. Keep an eye on the calendar!

Shay Ryburn

Shay is a Songwriter from Olathe Kansas. His music a mixture of blues, Country R&B with a little Jazz all blended together. Think Leon Redbone, Hank Williams Jr with a taste of West Montgomery done with uniquely original styling that is Shay Ryburn. Shay's smooth vocals and uncanny ability to coin a phrase makes for a great combination when he writes a song.
Shay was born in Oklahoma and raised in LA. Currently Shay has teamed up with good friend and co-writer Rick Lally. They are playing in small venues around the Kansas City area. They try to play in places where the music and words can be heard.
Shay recorded his CD entitled “Love Don’t Grow on Trees “ which will be available on-line very soon. Shay is currently working on his second cd entitled “That A-Way “ which is due out in 2012. Shay is excited about the progress made on the CD and is excited to be able to share it once it's complete. Stay tuned!

A New Beginning
Listen to the original songs from the young and talented musician / songwriters once know as A New Beginning. The band consisted of Austin Finley, Andrew Bone, Ian Lally, Dominck Lamendola and Charlie Sullivan. Most of them are working thier way through college, but they are still playing music when they can! Maybe some summer they can do a reunion tour? You never know!!! In the Mean time Ian Lally will occasionally work in the studio to lay down some really nice lead guitar bridges on his ol' Dad's songs or he'll arrange some guitar licks like the YouTube video found below:

Ian Lally
Songwriter / Guitarist
Ian started playing guitar at a young age with the same exuberance of his smile in the picture to the left. His first band Art of The Concept brought him enough notoriety to catch the attention of another local band A New Beginning. They already had a lead guitarist, yet they eventually integrated Ian in as a member. He was involved in forging several of the bands songs. A New Beginning had many successes in the short three year span. Eventually all the band mates graduated from high school to run off to college. It's still amazing to think of the faces of much older bands when they ran into A New Beginning at a battle of the bands. They couldn't believe the amount of talent in five seventeen year olds! A New Beginning was a heavy metal band, but all of it's members were always involved in several different types of music. Below you'll see a couple of videos. The first is an arrangement that Ian had for the song Tik Tok by Ke$ha. The second is one of Ian's original songs entitled Aberration. Needless to say that Ian continues to grow as a songwriter and guitarist. Enjoy!
